The Upper Midwest Invasive Species Conference values diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility. We recognize that encouraging and facilitating participation of diverse and historically underrepresented groups integrates a variety of perspectives into our conference and creates a learning and networking environment that benefits us all.  We are committed to inclusive conferences where the diversity of presenters, supporters, and attendees are representative of the diverse peoples of the Upper Midwest.

Conference Registration Support

UMISC was pleased to be able to support diverse and inclusive attendance at our 2024 conference. Thanks to the support of key sponsors, the commitment of our co-host organizations, and many individual contributions, six individuals that applied for support under this fund were able to attend this year's conference.
